Hi Trey Tapman The old Mister Cycle is a Registred Trade name for Miyata Bicycles, must be really old, I remember them when I lived in Chile and my father used to sell them, also in Peru used the same name. Probably more than 40 years old bike. Regards, Hernan
I am considering buying a used 84' 610. It is in pretty good shape and the gentle man is asking $180. Everything works and it looks well taken care of. It is completely stock. I want to do some long distance loaded touring. Good bike for the job? Any input would be great thanks!
Just bought a brand new, cherry 1984 63cm 912 in Olympic Silver! It is gorgeous, and thanks SO MUCH for posting this data, it will help me keep my bike looking great for another quarter century!
The images in the catalogs are nice, but the low resolution of the text makes them far less useful than they could be. Is there a way to post higher resolution catalogs (as on the vintage Trek or Raleigh sites)?
I also am having a lot of trouble reading the specs on the charts in most of the catalogs. Does anyone know where higher resolution catalogs are available. I just need the 1988 Miyata 1000 specs information.
Hi, I have a 1983 or 84 Miyata Le Mans Course that I bought new in Okinawa Japan when I was a young Marine Stationed there. Can anyone give me information on this bike? Even on the web I have not been able to find anything. Thanks!
I have a 1984 610 in excellent shape that has beeb su tting in my garage for years. My daughter is in need of a new bike and I'm thinking of selling it to get some money to put towards her bike. Is there any place I can find out the value of my bike? Its a really nice bike and I won't get rid of it if I can't get much for it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks a million! This is the kind of archival material that makes the internet truly remarkable. Your hard work is appreciated over here on the coast of Maine.
I am considered a bicycle guru in the industry. I have also had many amazing experiences that you would never believe. It's now time for me to share these experiences with you.

These are great! BTW, do you know any sources for decals or high-quality artwork for making decals? I have a 1981 610 and a 1982 1000.

I ride an 1986 710 and love it. A 610 for $180 sounds like a good price to me. As long as the fit is right - I'd say go for it.

great site, thanks for the reference. i have a 1984 610 and 1000 (and a couple of other less interesting miyatas).
Thank you so much for sharing this valuable collection!
